An mp has taken to the streets to see what life is like for police officers in her community.

Madeleine Moon, MP for Bridgend, has been shadowing officers as they conduct their local beats as part of a fact-finding mission.

She said: 'I went from opening an art display to walking the streets of Bridgend at 2am.'

The MP also visited a Pact meeting in Porthcawl, the mosque in Aberkenfig and the county's CCTV control room.
